What Exactly do you EAT?

Last Updated 4/22/2016Posted in Real-food, real food meals, mom life, meal plans

When people learn I have embarked on a real-food diet I get the question..."so what exactly do you eat?" Usually the eyebrows raise with skepticism in the voice and then a long pause. Soo silly, as if I am trying to snooker my friends and family or suggest something ridiculous. Putting my personal feelings aside, let's be honest for a second and say...people have a right to be a little skeptical because much of what is presented as "diet food" or even healthy food does involve some crazy food choices. However, most people who know me would say I am not quick to leap into things and I usually make decisions after much thought and consideration.

I've already given a guide of how to start choosing real-food, but I understand that without practical suggestions or real examples that does not help a whole lot. I eat many things you do, but the KEY difference is choosing real-food ingredients and using traditional methods of preparation. Again, that does not mean a whole lot without giving a concrete example. I could choose to give you recipe after recipe (I will, and there will be plenty), but instead let me help you with one of YOUR favorite recipes.

Send me you favorite recipe and I will dedicate the next several posts to turning your recipes into real-food recipes! So find that recipe you love and let's turn it into a REAL-FOOD meal.
