Glass Spray Bottles

Glass Spray bottles are a must for using Essential Oils in your favorite DIY recipes. Glass will not break down over time and it will keep the integrity of your oils in tact. Plastics are acceptable for short term use or in a pinch, but remember that essential oils are highly concentrated and some like citrus oils can break down plastic.

Here are  2 different types and sizes, we like the larger ones for making our Thieves Cleaner and smaller for room sprays, personal fragrance spray and on the go:

Carrier Oil

Carrier oil should be used to dilute your essential oils. Remember that less is usually more with essential oils and when you first begin using essential oils it is always a good idea to dilute with a carrier oil. Carrier oils are also great for making DIY recipes like sugar scrubs or making a roller bottle with your choice of essential oils.

We love coconut oil in our house, but you can also use olive oil, grape seed, avocado, almond, jojoba, etc.

Labels

Making cute labels are a must when you're making fun DIY recipes for your essential oils. I love the look and ease of using chalkboard labels:

Glass Roller Bottles

We love our rollerbottles around here. They are so versatile and a great way to pre-dilute your essential oils and have at the ready when you need them. Make up an immunity roller, stress away roller, or even a personal perfume roller. These are easy to use and easy to take with your oils with you wherever you go.

Glass Jars

Glass jars are a fun way to store your DIY recipes such as sugar scrubs, lotions, face creams, salves, etc. We love glass because of its durability, but again, it will not break down over time. We love making a sugar scrub with citrus oils and I like knowing that my scrub will remain safe and free of chemicals.
