Here you'll find honesty and authenticity as I share about real moments mostly in motherhood, but some of my life too.

When my first child was born, my entire ideal of becoming a mother was shattered. I gave birth to a 28 week preemie via emergency c-section and spent the next 2 months in a total blur. It was hard and often times hope-less. We took our son home in spring and his first outing was Easter. What an incredible way to celebrate the hope of a new beginning. We celebrated at my grandparents house on their property, the smell of fresh cut grass, ponds waking up from a sleepy winter, flowers blooming and that spring sunshine. All of it breathed new life into my view of motherhood. I wanted and needed to bloom right where I was, I found joy in my story of motherhood and was looking for community that was real and honest about the challenges of motherhood.

This website has always existed in my motherhood journey, in little notes to myself, in journal entries, on scraps of paper, waiting for someday, when my courage would bloom and I'd be bold enough to share my story online. To offer moms a place to find joy in the real moments of motherhood.
